1. Using this website

Welcome to African Nomad. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, products, software, downloads, themes, plugins, customer portal, documentation, subscriptions and related services.

By using this website, purchasing a product, downloading software, registering an account, activating a license, or using any African Nomad service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. About African Nomad

African Nomad provides WordPress-based software, themes, plugins, digital tools and related services for accommodation, hospitality, tourism and direct-booking websites.

Our products may include, but are not limited to:

• Accommodation Booking Manager Lite
• Accommodation Booking Manager Pro
• AN Self Catering Theme
• Customer portal access
• Documentation and support resources
• Website setup and related digital services

References to “African Nomad”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to African Nomad Software (Pty) Ltd.

3. Account registration

Some features may require you to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to update it when necessary.

We may suspend or restrict account access if we reasonably believe that your account is being misused, used fraudulently, or used in breach of these Terms.

4. Products, licences and downloads

Digital products may be made available through your customer portal after registration, purchase, subscription activation, or free download request.

Some products may require a valid license key to receive updates, activate Pro features, or connect a website domain.

License terms may depend on the product or plan purchased, including the number of websites, properties, domains or installations allowed.

You may not resell, redistribute, copy, share, sublicense, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit African Nomad products unless we have given written permission.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans may renew according to the subscription terms shown at checkout. Pricing, property allowances, feature availability and plan names may change from time to time. Any current paid access is governed by the plan selected at the time of purchase or renewal.

6. Lite and free products

Free or Lite products are provided to help users test, evaluate or begin using African Nomad software.

Free products may have feature limits, property limits, usage limits, support limits or update limits. We may update, change or discontinue free product features at any time.

7. Pro products and subscriptions

Paid products may be sold as once-off purchases, recurring subscriptions, annual plans, monthly plans, or custom quotations.

Your access to paid features, updates, support and downloads may depend on the status of your license or subscription.

If your subscription expires, is cancelled, or payment fails, your access to updates, downloads, support or Pro functionality may be restricted.

8. Payments

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Paystack or other payment services.

By making payment, you agree to the pricing, billing cycle, renewal terms and product conditions shown at checkout or in your quotation.

We do not store your card details on our website.

9. Website setup and services

Where African Nomad provides website setup, configuration, migration, consulting, design, development or launch support, the scope of work will be based on the written quotation, proposal, invoice, service description or agreed communication.

Additional work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.

10. Support

Support may be provided through documentation, customer portal tickets, email, demo sessions, or other support channels.

Support does not guarantee custom development, third-party plugin fixes, hosting fixes, server administration, theme customisation, or repair of issues caused by external changes unless agreed separately.

11. Customer accounts and security

Customers are responsible for keeping account details, licence keys, passwords and authorised website access secure. African Nomad may restrict access where misuse, abuse, fraud or security risk is suspected.

12. Compatibility

African Nomad products are designed for WordPress environments, but compatibility may depend on your hosting, PHP version, WordPress version, theme, plugins, WooCommerce setup, Elementor setup, payment gateway and server configuration.

We cannot guarantee compatibility with every third-party theme, plugin, hosting provider or custom code environment.

13. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Keeping WordPress, plugins and themes updated
• Maintaining backups of your website
• Using secure passwords
• Managing your hosting environment
• Testing updates before applying them to live sites
• Ensuring your own website content, policies and legal compliance
• Configuring your products correctly

14. Intellectual property

The African Nomad brand, software, theme designs, written content, graphics and product materials remain the property of their respective owners. Customers receive a licence to use the product according to the selected plan, not ownership of the underlying source product or brand assets.

15. Third-party services

Our products may integrate with third-party services such as payment gateways, Google services, Meta services, email providers, CRM tools, hosting providers, WordPress plugins or APIs.

We are not responsible for the availability, pricing, security, policy changes or performance of third-party services.

16. Acceptable use

You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, misuse, overload, damage or attempt to bypass licence controls, payment controls or security systems connected to African Nomad products or services.

17. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, African Nomad will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of revenue, loss of bookings, loss of data, website downtime, business interruption, search ranking changes, failed integrations or third-party service issues.

Our total liability, where liability cannot be excluded, will be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

18. No guarantee of results

We may provide software, tools, templates, design resources, booking workflows, marketing guidance or website services. However, we do not guarantee specific business results, bookings, revenue, search rankings, enquiries, conversions or customer growth.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to products, downloads, support, licenses or accounts if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, abuse support channels, fail to pay, or use the products unlawfully.

20. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as African Nomad products, subscriptions and services evolve. The latest version published on this website will apply from the date shown on this page.
