Explains when to use a multi-accommodation property versus a full-property rental setup.
Accommodation Booking Manager supports different rental structures.
Use a multi-accommodation setup when one property has several accommodation options, for example:
- A lodge with multiple rooms.
- A guesthouse with room types.
- A resort with several units.
- A boutique hotel with different room categories.
Use a full-property setup when the whole property is rented as one unit, for example:
- A villa.
- A holiday house.
- A private lodge.
- A self-catering cottage rented as a complete unit.
The rental mode affects how accommodation options, seasons, rates and availability are linked. For multi-accommodation properties, rates and availability are usually linked to the specific accommodation option. For full-property rentals, the rate can apply to the whole property.
